Expensive Taste, Inexpensive Cigars

Cigars are a favorite pastime, literally. One can't rush through a cigar and, quite frankly, we're not sure why one would. The entire point about smoking a cigar is to slow down and savor the experience, whether it's in the company of good friends or alone on your deck on a warm summer night.

For those in the know, you don't have to pay outrageous prices to find an amazing cigar. Yes, there are those who think an expensive price tag is a guarantee of quality. Go for it. It's the same thing with wine: you can buy a $100+ bottle of cabernet (and many are worth it), but you can also find a $20 bottle from a small producer in an up-and-coming region that will make you reconsider everything you thought about wine.

We're highlighting four amazing robustos that we've enjoyed and think you will, too ("robusto" refers to the length of this type of cigar, which is somewhere between 4 1/2" - 5/12" long). We had two criteria: a high probability that a decent cigar shop would have the brand in stock and a single stick is priced around $10 a cigar (taxes and certain locales may push that a bit north, but not egregiously so). Although these are shorter cigars, they're long on taste and overdeliver on quality when compared to the relatively inexpensive price.

Right now through October 17, 2018, Famous Smoke Shop is running a special for $10 off orders of +$89 or $15 off orders of +$129, which is a pretty sweet deal for the cigars below and many other premium cigars. Note that there are some restrictions; check out their site for more details.

If you click and buy any of these products, The Capital Q will earn a small commission as part of its participation in Affiliate Programs. No pressure, though. The only thing richer than commissions from $10 cigars are the cigars themselves.
