Time-Sensual Rice

The Capital Q was typing a bit too fast when the phone thoughtfully auto-completed the phrase, "time-sensual rice," for the intended, "time-sensitive."

Is time-sensual rice a thing? If so, here's how The Capital Q envisions it.

Chance dimmed the lights and put on Barry White's "Can't Get Enough" album. The Contessa would be arriving shortly. It was time.

Time for time-sensual rice.

Chance knew that negotiations would be delicate. He'd been shot at and chased earlier in the day, but nothing was going to stop him from making his famous dish.

There was a soft knock on the door after an hour's worth of preparation. Chance twirled the bottle of Pol Roger champagne in the ice bucket and smoothed his favorite smoking jacket. He opened the door to a black Halston draped perfectly over olive shoulders and toned legs so long that they required separate passports when traveling.

"Oh Chance, you made time-sensual rice," said the Contessa.

"I had...the time," Chance said firmly, closing the door to the world and its problems.

Fin.
